Microsoft today unveiled plans for the upcoming December release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016.

Microsoft continually invests in the CRM roadmap, and there is currently a strong focus on quicker and more practical access to information which makes use of connections and different data sources, as well as an emphasis on ease of mobility.

Designed to minimise time spent switching between applications, the new release brings enhanced features, such as the ability to analyse data using Excel from within CRM; Delve functionality to present information pro-actively to users; one-click Word and Excel document creation using CRM data; next generation Cortana integration and, crucially, the ability to seamlessly open Office apps, such as Share Point, One Drive for Business and Office 365 Groups, from any CRM record to view contextual documents.

"Every time someone switches back and forth to export data or move between applications, it reduces productivity", says Stephanie Dart, Director of Product Marketing for Microsoft Dynamics. "We want a single, immersive experience for employees that eliminates those distractions."

Core offers professional services around Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ranging from business process analysis to implementation, through project scoping and management, to training and support.
