With much of the world's workforce currently working from home, it's little wonder Microsoft Teams attracted 12 million new daily users in the space of a week, taking the total of active daily users up to 44 million - more than double the number in November 2019.
Teams and other collaboration platforms are enabling the remote working revolution, but how is Teams impacting enterprise IT management as a whole? And how are organisations preparing to transition to Teams, with the announcement last summer that Skype for Business would be retired in summer 2021?
To discuss these topics and more, Core's Client Solution Director, Eamon McGann, Microsoft Solution Specialist, Kat Greenan, and Lead Solution Architect, Davide Ranchetti, held a virtual 'round table' talk with Rob Scott of UC Today, powered by Teams, and shared their real-world experiences of working with businesses to implement Teams, the key challenges they find are currently keeping CIOs awake at night, and striking the right balance between risk and reward when it comes to implementing new modern workplace technology.
